Process

Six stages from mandate to distribution.

Every Orion mandate follows the same architecture. It is what allows complex, cross-border transactions to close without stalling in the middle.

Stage 01

Authorisation & Mandate

The asset holder authorises Orion to manage the sale of the mining property. Scope, exclusivity and remuneration are defined up front in the service deed.

Stage 02

Negotiation

We open the market and negotiate on the operator's behalf. First rounds often fail; that is the point. We hold out for a structure that is lucrative for every party at the table.

Stage 03

Legal Transfer

A formal transfer agreement is drafted - with exact parcel coordinates, settlement terms, warranties on encumbrances and royalties, and conditions precedent for approvals. It is signed, witnessed and notarised.

Stage 04

Regulatory Approval

Applications for partial transfer of mining rights are submitted to the Mining Cadastre Office, with consent from concerned parties and updated company documents, so that title moves cleanly and without future dispute.

Stage 05

Escrow Settlement

Consideration is held in a regulated attorney escrow account. Milestone releases fund on the ground; the balance releases only once the buyer is satisfied with their findings.

Stage 06

Trade Desk Distribution

Production is placed on trade for a defined term - weekly, fortnightly or monthly - and profit distributed to stakeholders on the cadence agreed in the service deed.

"Proper legal channels, above board - the deal is only worth what its weakest paperwork can defend."
